Kate Winslet's/ Rose 's Dinner Dress Titanic Tutorial: Fashion Design Drawing Lesson #9

Here a photo of the dress: twitpic.com Facebook Page: www.facebook.com Follow me on twitter: twitter.com The wrinkles and folds that appear on the garments are formed from beneath, where body joints are located. When the body moves, the wrinkles and folds increase and become more visible, and they always follow the body action forms. It is not necessary to indicate all the detailed wrinkles and folds, since there are so many. You should just draw major ones to emphasize the actions. When a garment touches or rests on the body, it reveals the body contours or silhouettes, so show some stresses on the surface of the garment by developing visible wrinkles or folds.
